This was our first time doing a shoot for the Bailey family and it was a lot of fun. They actually introduced us to this location, which we have used twice since then! It’s like a photographer’s heaven. All sorts of fun colored walls, tall grass, old rusty trains and train tracks. Awesome.

K & G Engagements/Wedding

It’s about time we updated this blog! We had the opportunity to shoot our first ever WEDDING! It was a really good experience for us - definitely different than your normal portrait or family pictures. Before the wedding and reception we also did K & G’s engagements and bridals. Reece - 7 months

Isn’t Reece just the more adorable thing you’ve ever seen? This shoot provided a good learning experience for us. The lighting in the house is really poor (no overhead lights - only standing lamps) and the sun was going down quickly, so the light coming through the windows was limited. I haven’t had much practice with our flash since we typically shoot outdoors, so this was a great chance to learn!

Mary & Jorge Engaged

Another fun engagement shoot! We actually took these on two separate days. Mary wanted some specific shots that we had to travel around town to get, which cut down a bit on our time at each location. The sun went down before we were able to get everything done, so we did another shoot a couple days later. We were happy to do it! It just meant that we got more fun pictures in different locations, and we got to prove to at least one client that we will do what is necessary to get the pictures our clients want!

We drive by this wall all the time and constantly think “we need to take pictures there!” but we never have. We finally decided to do some test pictures this weekend. I’m really excited to use this wall for an actual shoot for someone. It would be awesome for senior pictures or engagements!
