After 2 1/2 years of using the Canon XTi we finally upgraded. The XTi has been a great camera for us but we finally feel like we are ready to move up in equipment.

We upgraded to the Canon 50D. We aren’t quite ready (or good enough) to get something like the 5D Mk.II. Someday maybe, but not yet. The 50D is already proving very useful and we enjoy having it. We got to use it for a shoot for the first time last week as we did a wedding and reception. It handles low-light well and takes very crisp pictures. It will be an adjustment as it’s a bigger body and slightly heavier, but we are already seeing the results.
